Boxing Classes for Kids and Teens

Boxing Classes for All Ages and Skill Levels

Boxing is an individual sport where students don’t have to worry about another student’s skill level. Students can train at their own intensity level. Once we get to know the pupil, we will customize drills to improve their skills. Our program starts with the basics of boxing. Students learn how to throw punches correctly, proper footwork, and physical conditioning.

Boxing Fundamentals

Our youth boxing programs provide kids and teens the tools necessary to excel at other sports. Students gain strength, agility, quickness, endurance, power and speed. The benefits of youth boxing help students maintain physical fitness, manage weight, help with weight loss, improve overall physical health and well being.

Youth Boxing Team

Upon completion of the 3-Phase Boxing Program, young boxers can try out for the Mad House Boxing Fight Team. Mad House Fight Team members become a registered USA Boxing Member and compete as a fighter.

About Youth Boxing

The earliest we start teaching is age 5. The oldest is age 19. We build a rapport with the boxing student and determine if they can learn our method.

For ages 5 to 13, classes are scheduled Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays –  4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM. Ages 14 and up can train during any class time. See our complete schedule for up-to-date class times.

We offer group classes AND one-on-one training. Personal lessons are available for one on one training with sessions lasting 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Group classes are great for team building, confidence building, and a competitive edge.

Classes last one hour. Students can stay longer and can join back to back classes if they wish.

Youth boxing is safe! Students participate in routine boxing drills more than any other activity. If students want to become amateur fighters, they’re already on a path to building the foundations of boxing. Students learn how to fully protect themselves before they compete. To be eligible for a competition bout, students will need to see a doctor before they get in the ring, and after they get out of the ring. Safety is our number one priority.

No. Students do not have to get in the boxing ring and fight. If students would like to get in the ring, they will need to complete 30 to 90 lessons to meet eligibility. The first time a boxing student enters the ring, they train at a slow pace to ensure they learn to protect themselves.

Boxing is one of the best and most effective training regimens for self-defense. We teach students the skills to defend themselves. They learn to defend on their feet and stay on the feet. Boxing students learn how to dictate the action.

We take Covid-19 seriously. Mad House Boxing Club follows all the recommended guidelines to slow the spread. We offer one-on-one classes and outdoor classes. Our classes are socially distant practicing state recommended precautions. For more info contact us here.
