Our Mission

Our mission is to reach the minds of our future men and women by using boxing and exercise to influence and instill good habits and everlasting discipline. We aim to build a successful class of clear-minded and humble figures in our community that excel in school, at home, and eventually their careers. We believe that by building confidence in a physically challenging and unfamiliar environment, we can lead each individual to develop good habits and maintain those habits throughout their lives. Our Youth Boxing Programs are intended to serve that purpose.

Discipline Week

Week 1 is Discipline Week. Discipline Week will be a challenge. Students will be grouped into 2 segments – students who are fighters and students who will need more time and training to become fighters. Class duration is 2 hours – 5pm to 7pm. Our goal during Discipline Week is to instill the rules of the gym – respect for others, self-respect, confidence, loyalty, integrity and honor. Everyone will learn the basics of boxing such as the jab, footwork, and defensive bag technique. Students will improve physically in the areas of strength and stamina.

USA Boxing

After Discipline Week, students will be divided into age groups. Parents will be responsible for enrolling their child into USA Boxing. Click here to learn how to enroll kids in USA Boxing.

Our program is structured so students learn Olympic-style boxing. All competitors will be competing in USA Boxing through our Local Boxing Committee (LBC). Our LBC is the South Atlantic. If ready, most fighters will have their first fight in 6 months at a local club show. After five fights, depending on which USA Boxing tournament, the fighter is eligible to compete in the Junior Olympic, Silver Gloves, or National. The individual who has the desire to compete will be encouraged and receive special one-on-one training to prepare to win in USA Boxing competition.

Parental/Guardian Expectations

In order for us to have the full attention of the students and to keep everyone safe, parents will be able to wait in a lobby while the students train. Parents can also wait in their vehicle in the parking lot of our facility. Because space is limited only students are allowed in the workout area. Parents are allowed in the unless the coaches have requested you to come to watch.
